After “just thinking about it” for many years, 2025 was finally the one when I bought myself a sewing machine, and wowwwww it’s literally just the best lol. I absolutely love sewing!! Here’s some things I’ve made so far on my Singer M1000 (some handsewing also shown below!)
All sewing projects utilize secondhand/ thrifted fabrics. Both crossbody bags are primarily made from tshirt hems, with patches I designed, linocut carved/ stamped, and handsewed on. Even the beads are handmade using modpodge. The square beanies are simply made from different colored strips of tshirts. Lastly, I sewed a “woven style” coaster set out of more tshirt hems.
